Workout of the Day
Four sets of:
Shoulder Press x 1 + Push Press x 4 reps
Rest 60 seconds
Strict Toes-to-Bar x 8-10 reps
Rest 60 seconds;
and then,
Complete as many rounds as possible in 8 minutes of:
32/24 kg Kettlebell Swings x 15 reps
Hand-Release Push-Ups x 10 reps
Optional Finisher – Handstand Hold for Max Time (freestanding, or against the wall)
Barbells for Boobs October 29th at East Valley CrossFit
One of our favorite fundraisers is the Amazing “Grace” workout at East Valley CrossFit in Chandler which supports Mammograms in Action. From 1 to 4pm Saturday, 10/29, we will compete in the “Grace” workout, 30 clean and jerks for time at 135# and 95# for men and women respectively. It costs $35 to register to perform the workout, but we would love everyone to come down and watch the festivities. They do a great job at EVCF, with catered food, cash raffles, and lots of excitement.
We are also ordering pink tank tops and t-shirts with the Cactus logo on them, so email Kevin at Kevin@cactuscrossfit.com with your size if you want to order one. Figure on less than $20 for each, but we will charge whatever cost is.
