Workout of the Day
Take 15-20 minutes to build to a heavy single.
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 9 minutes of:
3 Power Snatches (135/95 lb)
6 Handstand Push-Ups
9 Ring Dips
CrossFit Games - Registration has opened for the 2012 CrossFit Games! You can register here, and there is no cost. The Open is great because EVERYONE competes at the same workouts. You can see how you stack up in the wide world of CrossFit!
There are masters divisions (45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+) and rx’d divisions for men and women. It is a great opportunity to test yourself and see how you compare across the world!
Personally, I am always trying to improve my fitness, and competitions, both local and the Games, are a way to stay motivated, get humbled, and find some guys to chase from a performance perspective.
The first workout will be announced on February 22nd, and we will be doing these workouts every Saturday for our classes. Registration with the open means you get to have your scores ranked on the worldwide leaderboard!
Finally, we went to LA last year for the Games Finals, and are planning on going again. It was an incredible event, so if you are interested in going, mark down July 13-15th on your calendars!
