Take 12-15 minutes to work on technique and build to a heavy, but not necessarily 1-RM,
Split Jerk
B.
Three rounds for time of:
135/95 lbs Thrusters x 10 reps
70/53# Kettlebell Swings x 15 reps
Pull-Ups x 20 reps (Beat swing progression for those that don’t have full kipping pullups)
Foot placement is key in the split jerk. Below, you’ll find a diagram of the relationship of jumping to landing position for the split jerk. We will go over it in class, but it will be helpful to be familiar with it.
